After arriving to Auckland I immediately started driving South. Raglan Beach happened to be my first stop on the road; a couple of hours after stepping out of the plane I was wading in the warm waters of the sea... :)

Heading south I hopped on a ferry from Wellington and crossed-over to the South Island.

Turning west I headed inland to "the adventure capital of the world", Queenstown

A day trip from Queenstown to Milford Sound (in the Fjordland NP) and back
